Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy In Clerical Script by Yi Bingshou was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 750,000.00 (€ 79,136.99), 15% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Yi Bingshou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poems In Kaishu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,200,000.00 (€ 369,826.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script von Yi Bingshou wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 79.136,99) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yi Bingshou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poems In Kaishu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.200.000,00 (€ 369.826,20).
