Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Calligraphy In Clerical Script by Yi Bingshou for HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 221,317.12). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 2,000,000.00 – 2,800,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Yi Bingshou have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2015 by the work Poems In Kaishu at HKD 3,200,000.00 (€ 369,826.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script von Yi Bingshou für HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 221.317,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 2.000.000,00 – 2.800.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Yi Bingshou wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2015 die Arbeit Poems In Kaishu mit HKD 3.200.000,00 (€ 369.826,20).
