Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Narcissus by Yeh Shih-Chiang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,354.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yeh Shih-Chiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sailing In Venice in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,419.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Narcissus von Yeh Shih-Chiang kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.354,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yeh Shih-Chiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sailing In Venice im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.419,81).
