Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cube (Hotel Sofitel) / White (Peninsula Hotel) by Yason Banal was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 31,250.00 (€ 3,044.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Yason Banal have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2013 the work ARTWORLD.XXX was auctioned for HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,338.62).
