A top price for Yao Shuping - as previously expected
The work Retreat in Xishan by Yao Shuping was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,899.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Retreat in Xishan is the most expensive artwork by Yao Shuping that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Retreat in Xishan von Yao Shuping kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.899,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Retreat in Xishan das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yao Shuping, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
