Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled(Painted In 1969) by Yao Ching-Chang was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The price achieved of HKD 41,300.00 (€ 4,686.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yao Ching-Chang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wall Street, which sold at auction in November 2012 for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,873.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled(Painted In 1969) von Yao Ching-Chang wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 41.300,00 (€ 4.686,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yao Ching-Chang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wall Street beobachtet, die im November 2012 für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.873,17) versteigert wurde.
