A top price for Yao Ching-Chang - as previously expected
In November 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Wall Street by Yao Ching-Chang. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,873.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Wall Street is the most expensive artwork by Yao Ching-Chang that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wall Street von Yao Ching-Chang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.873,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Wall Street das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yao Ching-Chang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
