This artwork by Yang Shoujing achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. In the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction, the work Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script sold for HKD 37,760.00 (€ 4,601.31) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Shoujing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Offical Script Calligraphy in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 767,000.00 (€ 90,259.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Shoujing erzielte im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script für HKD 37.760,00 (€ 4.601,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Shoujing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Offical Script Calligraphy im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 767.000,00 (€ 90.259,99).
