Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Calligraphy by Yang Shoujing. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,719.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Shoujing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Offical Script Calligraphy in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 767,000.00 (€ 90,259.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Yang Shoujing zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.719,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Shoujing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Offical Script Calligraphy im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 767.000,00 (€ 90.259,99).
