In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy in Running Script by Yang Shoujing. The auction ended at the price of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 6,092.83), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Shoujing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Offical Script Calligraphy in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 767,000.00 (€ 90,259.99).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Yang Shoujing zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 6.092,83) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Shoujing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Offical Script Calligraphy im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 767.000,00 (€ 90.259,99).
