Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape; Calligraphy by Yang Shilang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,606.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yang Shilang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape After Fan Kuan, which sold at auction in September 2021 for USD 24,062.50 (€ 20,784.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape; Calligraphy von Yang Shilang kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.606,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yang Shilang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape After Fan Kuan beobachtet, die im September 2021 für USD 24.062,50 (€ 20.784,75) versteigert wurde.
