Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape After Huang Gongwang by Yang Shilang was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2014. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,355.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yang Shilang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Fan Kuan in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 24,062.50 (€ 20,784.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape After Huang Gongwang von Yang Shilang kam im März 2014 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.355,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Shilang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Fan Kuan im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 24.062,50 (€ 20.784,75).
