Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aboriginal woman by Yang Qiuren was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,026.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yang Qiuren have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Young Fellow from Li Tribe in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 596,000.00 (€ 53,314.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Aboriginal woman von Yang Qiuren kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.026,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Qiuren auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Young Fellow from Li Tribe im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 596.000,00 (€ 53.314,97).
