A top price for Yang Mansheng
The work Living in the Forest by Yang Mansheng was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,248.84), 56% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Living in the Forest the most expensive artwork by Yang Mansheng that we have observed at auctions so far.
