Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Beach by Yang Mansheng. It changed hands for a price of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,349.31) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Yang Mansheng have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2019 the work Living in the Forest was auctioned for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,248.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beach von Yang Mansheng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.349,31) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Yang Mansheng konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2019 die Arbeit Living in the Forest für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.248,84) versteigert.
