Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy In Running Script by Yang Jisheng. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,265.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Yang Jisheng have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2016 the work Travelling At Tianhua Mountain was auctioned for USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,796.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Yang Jisheng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.265,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Yang Jisheng konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2016 die Arbeit Travelling At Tianhua Mountain für USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.796,76) versteigert.
