A top price for Yang Han - as previously expected
In March 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Poems In Running Script by Yang Han. The price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,456.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 16,000.00 – 26,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Poems In Running Script is the most expensive artwork by Yang Han that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poems In Running Script von Yang Han zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 17.456,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 16.000,00 – 26.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Poems In Running Script das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yang Han, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
