This artwork by Yang Feiyun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Unknown sold for HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 139,970.67) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Feiyun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little Actress in December 2013 with an auction result of CNY 14,750,000.00 (€ 1,768,415.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 85 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Feiyun erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Unknown für HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 139.970,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Feiyun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Little Actress im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 14.750.000,00 (€ 1.768.415,71).
