This artwork by Yang Fa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Seven-character Poem in Seal Script sold for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 34,704.07) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yang Fa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Official Script Calligraphy, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 885,000.00 (€ 103,391.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Fa erzielte im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Seven-character Poem in Seal Script für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 34.704,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yang Fa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Official Script Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 885.000,00 (€ 103.391,60) versteigert wurde.
