Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet in Seal Script by Yang Fa was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 94,500.00 (€ 11,425.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yang Fa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Official Script Calligraphy in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 885,000.00 (€ 103,391.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Seal Script von Yang Fa kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.500,00 (€ 11.425,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Fa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Official Script Calligraphy im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 885.000,00 (€ 103.391,60).
