This artwork by Yan Yu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscapes And Poems sold for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 33,183.89) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yan Yu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poem In Regular Script in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 139,821.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yan Yu erzielte im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscapes And Poems für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 33.183,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yan Yu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poem In Regular Script im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 139.821,03).
