The work Running Script Calligraphy by Yan Xinhou was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The result of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,479.44) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yan Xinhou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 49,017.39).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy von Yan Xinhou kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.479,44) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yan Xinhou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 49.017,39).
