A top price for Yan Xinhou - as previously expected
The work Calligraphy by Yan Xinhou was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 49,017.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy is the most expensive artwork by Yan Xinhou that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Yan Xinhou wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 49.017,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Calligraphy das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yan Xinhou, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
