A top price for Yan Jiyuan
In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Lady by Yan Jiyuan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 113,400.00 (€ 13,463.01), 62% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Lady the most expensive artwork by Yan Jiyuan that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lady von Yan Jiyuan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 113.400,00 (€ 13.463,01) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Lady zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Yan Jiyuan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
