Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Error Screen 7 (Diptych) by Yan Heng for HKD 6,875.00 (€ 774.14). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yan Heng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ulcer in September 2017 with an auction result of CNY 72,000.00 (€ 9,160.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Error Screen 7 (Diptych) von Yan Heng für HKD 6.875,00 (€ 774,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yan Heng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Ulcer im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 72.000,00 (€ 9.160,76).
