This artwork by Yan Han achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2015. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Sailing At Night sold for HKD 13,800.00 (€ 1,594.88) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yan Han - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Battle, which sold at auction in November 2006 for HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,818.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yan Han erzielte im April 2015 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Sailing At Night für HKD 13.800,00 (€ 1.594,88) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yan Han mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Battle beobachtet, die im November 2006 für HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.818,57) versteigert wurde.
