Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Views on the Italian coast (one illustrated) by Y. Gianni for GBP 112.50 (€ 142.20). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 400.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Y. Gianni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vesuvius from Naples in January 2006 with an auction result of GBP 540.00 (€ 791.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Views on the Italian coast (one illustrated) von Y. Gianni für GBP 112,50 (€ 142,20) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 400,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Y. Gianni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vesuvius from Naples im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 540,00 (€ 791,48).
