Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work The flower market by Y. Gianni for GBP 58.75 (€ 76.55). This price was achieved in the auction At Home - British and Continental Pictures & Works on Paper at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Y. Gianni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vesuvius from Naples in January 2006 with an auction result of GBP 540.00 (€ 791.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The flower market von Y. Gianni für GBP 58,75 (€ 76,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion At Home - British and Continental Pictures & Works on Paper bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Y. Gianni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vesuvius from Naples im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 540,00 (€ 791,48).
