A top price for Xue Feng - as previously expected
The work Flashback-20 (Diptych) by Xue Feng was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 47,071.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 360,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Flashback-20 (Diptych) is the most expensive artwork by Xue Feng that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Flashback-20 (Diptych) von Xue Feng wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 47.071,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 360.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Flashback-20 (Diptych) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xue Feng, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
