Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year POLY held the auction Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors II, which included the work Two Birds Under Banana Tree Leaves by Xu Linlu. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 3,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 3,600.00 (€ 431.50) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Linlu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers And Fruit in April this year with an auction result of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 24,508.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Birds Under Banana Tree Leaves von Xu Linlu zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 3.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 3.600,00 (€ 431,50) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Linlu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers And Fruit im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 24.508,70).
