Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Xu Linlu achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Ink Shrimps sold for HKD 33,600.00 (€ 4,063.29) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xu Linlu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers And Fruit in April this year with an auction result of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 24,508.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xu Linlu erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Ink Shrimps für HKD 33.600,00 (€ 4.063,29) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Linlu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers And Fruit im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 24.508,70).
