Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peaches by Xu Linlu was sold in the Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in February 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,664.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Xu Linlu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers And Fruit in April this year with an auction result of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 24,508.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peaches von Xu Linlu wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.664,76) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Linlu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers And Fruit im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 24.508,70).
