Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Ducks and Flowers by Xu Linlu. The price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,433.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xu Linlu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers And Fruit in April this year with an auction result of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 24,508.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ducks and Flowers von Xu Linlu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.433,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Linlu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers And Fruit im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 24.508,70).
