The work Landscapes And Figures by Xu Lin was sold in the Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in February 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 15,000.00 (€ 1,598.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Lin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in Cursive Script in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 1,820,000.00 (€ 180,461.18).

Die Arbeit Landscapes And Figures von Xu Lin wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 15.000,00 (€ 1.598,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Lin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy in Cursive Script im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.820.000,00 (€ 180.461,18).
