Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Studying Scholar; Calligraphy by Xu Lele was sold in the Inkspiration: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in August 2021. The price achieved of HKD 27,720.00 (€ 3,018.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Lele achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,600,000.00 (€ 148,810.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Studying Scholar; Calligraphy von Xu Lele wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Inkspiration: Chinese Paintings Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 27.720,00 (€ 3.018,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Lele erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.600.000,00 (€ 148.810,38).
