Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Ink Art: Confluence, which included the work Bathing Nudes (Set Of Two Works) by Xu Lele. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,227.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Lele achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,600,000.00 (€ 148,810.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Ink Art: Confluence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bathing Nudes (Set Of Two Works) von Xu Lele zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.227,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Lele erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.600.000,00 (€ 148.810,38).
