Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reading Painting by Xu Lele was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 8,271.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Lele achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,600,000.00 (€ 148,810.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reading Painting von Xu Lele wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 8.271,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Lele erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.600.000,00 (€ 148.810,38).
