Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work Fluttering Butterflies by Xu Lele. The price achieved of CNY 61,360.00 (€ 8,724.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Lele achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,600,000.00 (€ 148,810.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fluttering Butterflies von Xu Lele zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 61.360,00 (€ 8.724,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Lele erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.600.000,00 (€ 148.810,38).
