Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Drinker by Xu Lele. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,952.50), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Lele achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,600,000.00 (€ 148,810.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Drinker von Xu Lele zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.952,50) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Lele erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.600.000,00 (€ 148.810,38).
