Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape After Huang Gongwang by Xu Jian. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,445.11). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Jian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape after Cao Zhibiao in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 3,620,000.00 (€ 346,312.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape After Huang Gongwang von Xu Jian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.445,11) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Jian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape after Cao Zhibiao im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.620.000,00 (€ 346.312,35).
