Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Xingshu by Xie Wuliang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,834.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 28,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xie Wuliang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphic Couplet in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 82,752.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Xingshu von Xie Wuliang kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.834,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 28.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xie Wuliang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 82.752,93).
