Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape Imitating Ni Zan And Wang Gongwang by Xie Lansheng was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,089.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xie Lansheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 14,900.00 (€ 20,863.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape Imitating Ni Zan And Wang Gongwang von Xie Lansheng kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.089,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Xie Lansheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 14.900,00 (€ 20.863,85) versteigert wurde.
