Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Couplet In Seal Script by Xiao Tui'An. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,697.45), 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Xiao Tui'An have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 129,800.00 (€ 15,274.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Couplet In Seal Script von Xiao Tui'An zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.697,45) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xiao Tui'An auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 129.800,00 (€ 15.274,77).
