Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Xiao Tui'An achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October 2021. In the Takahashi Kouhou Collection auction, the work Calligraphy In Clerical Script sold for HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,606.30) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiao Tui'An - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in October 2016 for HKD 129,800.00 (€ 15,274.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xiao Tui'An erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Takahashi Kouhou Collection wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script für HKD 50.400,00 (€ 5.606,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiao Tui'An mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für HKD 129.800,00 (€ 15.274,77) versteigert wurde.
