A top price for Xiang Qinghua - as previously expected
The work Window by Xiang Qinghua was sold in the +86 Chinese Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Shanghai in October 2015. The price achieved of CNY 200,000.00 (€ 28,672.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 160,000.00 – 260,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Window is the most expensive artwork by Xiang Qinghua that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Window von Xiang Qinghua wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion +86 Chinese Contemporary Art bei Christies in Shanghai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 200.000,00 (€ 28.672,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 160.000,00 – 260.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Window das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xiang Qinghua, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
