Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Doll by Xiang Qinghua was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,038.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 140,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiang Qinghua - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Window, which sold at auction in October 2015 for CNY 200,000.00 (€ 28,672.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Doll von Xiang Qinghua wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.038,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 140.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiang Qinghua mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Window beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für CNY 200.000,00 (€ 28.672,34) versteigert wurde.
