Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2010 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art including Contemporary Art from a Private Collection, which included the work Fanciulla Con Fiocchetto Rosso by Xavier Bueno. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,750.00. Admittedly, works by Xavier Bueno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-Portrait Of The Artist At His Easel, Half-Length, Aged 32 in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,066.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2010 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art including Contemporary Art from a Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fanciulla Con Fiocchetto Rosso von Xavier Bueno zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xavier Bueno auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-Portrait Of The Artist At His Easel, Half-Length, Aged 32 im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.066,33).
