The work Goldfish, 1983 by Wu Zuoren was sold in the Chinese Paintings-The Online sale auction at Bonhams in September this year. It achieved a price of HKD 21,760.00 (€ 2,625.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Zuoren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Golden Ocean in November 2007 with an auction result of HKD 8,167,500.00 (€ 713,988.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 45 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Goldfish, 1983 von Wu Zuoren wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Chinese Paintings-The Online sale bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 21.760,00 (€ 2.625,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Zuoren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Golden Ocean im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.167.500,00 (€ 713.988,97).
