Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Misty Mountains by Wu Zishen was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 57,500.00 (€ 5,919.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Wu Zishen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2011 the work Temple Amidst The Clouds was auctioned for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,503.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Misty Mountains von Wu Zishen kam im Oktober 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 57.500,00 (€ 5.919,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Wu Zishen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2011 die Arbeit Temple Amidst The Clouds für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.503,41) versteigert.
