A top price for Wu Zishen - as previously expected
In October 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Temple Amidst The Clouds by Wu Zishen. The price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,503.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Temple Amidst The Clouds is the most expensive artwork by Wu Zishen that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Temple Amidst The Clouds von Wu Zishen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.503,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Temple Amidst The Clouds das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wu Zishen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
